Long Beach Unified School District Home Learning Opportunities

View in Khmer

As mentioned last week, the closure of all Long Beach Unified School District schools will extend through at least May 3 due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. By the end of the day today, 菠菜网lol正规平台 will offer home learning opportunities for general education and special education students and their families. These opportunities are for the period between Monday, March 23 and Thursday, April 9. These lessons and resources have been developed to support students’ continued learning in their grade level and/or coursework through April 9 (the day before our planned April 10 Admission Day holiday and the planned spring break the following week). These home learning opportunities will not be graded.

During school closures, students and parents can use the Home Learning Opportunities webpage to find resources specific to each school.  The same webpage also can be accessed via:

  • The Home Learning Opportunities link on the home page at ngskmc-eis.net
  • The Home Learning Opportunities link on each school website’s home page
  • Directly at ngskmc-eis.net/HLO

For students who need a Chromebook, devices will be available starting on Wednesday, March 25. Schools also can provide information about gaining access to the internet at home, for families that still need access. Home learning materials also will be provided in paper form to families as needed starting Tuesday, March 24, at the sites where free meals are being served.
